First blog post! ...What is music?

Hello!
I started this blog to allow for some communication to occur on my website https://sites.google.com/site/westmiddleschoolorchestra/home.  It just seemed to be the most efficient way to allow for ease of visitors to comment on my site.  We'll see, as time goes on maybe I will resort more to one or the other (website vs. blog).

If you are one of my students or a parent/guardian of a student, please plan on checking the website regularly for the most updated information that is pertinent to the orchestra program.

I will plan to use this blog primarily as a tool to get you thinking about musical concepts.  So here it is.  The first big question!

What is music?

I look forward to reading your responses!
